Wednesday - Back squats and WOD for time

Power cleans

I wanted to start this blog off with a barbell strength workout and then incorporate the barbell into a WOD. I used the grey cerakote Legend Bar for the squats and switched over to the hard chrome bar for the WOD. After a light cardio warmup I got into the workout.

Back squats building to a heavy set of 5 reps

135#, 165#, 185#, 205#, 225#, 255#

10 rounds for time

3 power cleans

4 pull-ups

5 burpees

I finished at right around 8 minutes and was pretty spent afterwards. My times probably get better when I'm working out with a partner but I was OK with it. Gotta get ready for Murph next month so this was a good one to start preparing!
